Cost-Per-Click (CPC) is based on many factors, and is not always as high as your bid. Usually you will pay one cent more than the next highest bidder for the placement of your ad. The more you agree to bid for a specific keyword and the more effective your ad, the higher your site will rank in the paid search results, and usually the more clicks your ad will receive.
