TestDrive Online Demos now Live for Microsoft MapPoint 2009

Customers wishing to check out the latest version of Microsoft MapPoint can now do so via Runaware’s TestDrive service – allowing users to demo the software directly in their web browser

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (October 21, 2008) – Runaware, the global leader in online demos and software marketing services, is pleased to announce that it has gone live with Microsoft MapPoint 2009 (North America) on its TestDrive online demo service.

Runaware first hosted MapPoint in 2004 for Microsoft, to allow potential customers the ability to try MapPoint in their browser – with no need to download and install the software. Every version of MapPoint from then on has been available for demo through the TestDrive service. Using a browser plug-in, potential customers are able to interact with the software in Microsoft Internet Explorer as if it were installed on their own computer, connecting in less than 60 seconds. Several guides are available, showing MapPoint’s business uses for the Real Estate, Insurance and Sales industries as examples. Sample data files are already provided to populate the maps with data such as home values, policy claim rates, etc.
