The agreement will enable STR’s current and prospective customers to evaluate full working versions of its software live in their web browser, without having to download files or waiting to receive evaluation CDs in the mail.
TestDrive enables software developers and ISVs to provide a complete version of their software online with no concern for piracy or reliance on the cost and complications of downloads and CDs. It enhances the customer experience and can be integrated with customer relationship management applications to shorten the sales cycle.
Through its deployment of TestDrive, STR hopes to give more potential customers exposure to its flagship solution, eXcellent, which provides architects with advanced capabilities for the design and management of complex construction projects, budgeting, pricing, accounting work, safety at construction sites and in the workplace, all integrated with Microsoft Office.
Marketing Manager for STR, Nicola Baraldi said “Our eXcellent solution has been designed to be easy to use but also to meet all the needs of building designers and construction companies.
